After years of research into the medicinal properties of honey, our founders discovered that the bioactivity of honey is directly linked to its MGO levels. MGO, or methylglyoxal, is a naturally occurring compound in certain Australasian honeys that has powerful antibacterial and antibiotic effects.

By carefully selecting bees, plants and locations that would maximise MGO levels, we are pioneering a proprietary honey production method that yields honey with over 800 MGO. This is 5-10 times higher than regular honey. Our patents are designed to maximise both potency and volume. Potency and volume have proved to be mutually exclusive to date.
